I would LOVE to have Winston Graham's Poldark series on audio. Years ago some were recorded on tape but you can't even get those now. Also, Graham's book 'Marnie' -- another favorite of mine. :)
ReplyDeleteWow it is surprising those aren't on audio since if I'm not mistaken it was a TV show too (BBC?Masterpiece?)...I think those would be a great one for Simon Vance!
ReplyDeleteYes, it originally aired in the late '70's on Masterpiece Theater. I own the boxed set on DVD. Swoon! And I agree that Simon Vance would be a great choice for narrator. :)
